Our Signature Linea Black Picture Frame is a hand-made, marquetry timber frame featuring a unique combination of dark ebony and light woods ina lineal pattern.

This frame’s high quality wood measures 30mm wide by 12mm deep and is traditionally handcrafted by artisans inthe Italian region of Bergamo, where the production of inlaid furniture is well known, following hundreds of years of tradition which is passed down by generations.

Each Signature frame is crafted from the finest timbers using an inlay method called marquetry. Marquetry is a meticulous, hand inlay technique, mastered during the Italian Renaissance. All of the marquetry on these timbers is produced by hand, requiring incredible patience and precision.

This extraordinary Italian wood is then masterfully cut, joined and transformed by our skilled picture framers from Profile Australia, to create an heirloom quality picture frame. Every Signature frame is finished ina durable high-gloss varnish that brings out the lustrous sheen of each woods unique grain.

Each solid timber Signature frame features a genuine glass face front and a plush, black velvet flock backing, brass fittings with an easel style stand and double-sided satinribbon.

Available infour sizes, 4x6in(10x15cm), 5x7in(13x18cm), 6x8in(15x20cm) and 8x10in(20x25cm) this exceptional timber frame is also supplied delicately wrapped insoft tissue paper and beautifully packaged and presented ina hand-made branded giftbox.
