Overview:

“Echoes In Relief” is a powerful body of work by recent VCA graduate James Farrar. Featuring large-scale hand-cut lino prints, the exhibition explores themes of identity, mythology, and personal history.

Drawing from his experience as an adopted Korean male living in Australia, James uses allegorical imagery, movement, music, and folklore to express the complexity of his internal world.

Alongside these striking works, visitors will also encounter his playful bug series featured throughout the space.
